Does Trump Even Want The Job?….

Donald Trump’s escalator ride into the 2016 Presidential Race will not soon be forgotten. It was on that day in the Trump Tower lobby. That kicked off what would become the start, of a political career, for the former slum lord and morally bankrupt businessman.

At the time, what appeared to be a career change was intended to be a publicity stunt. One that would fuel negotiations with NBC over his “Apprentice” contract. A boondoggle he had alluded to during many interviews throughout the years. Had finally been put into action.

What happened next, not only caught Trump by surprise but changed the course of the entire world. The media became infatuated with Trump coverage. With the right, it wasn’t a case of love at first sight. Then when the left started to condemn Trump. The GOP base grew enamored with his divisive rhetoric. Ultimately the coverage on both sides was 24/7 Trump. This propelled him to the Presidency and all that comes with the highest office in the Land.

As the leader of the free world, Trump relished the power that comes with the title. He seemingly never had a penchant for the work. As President, however, he could circumvent the law and have the Republican Party pay all the legal fees. Something Trump had avoided whenever possible. Trump has walked away from paying so many lawyers. It’s as if he were a dine-and-dash champion. So having his legal bills covered was a perk he quickly got accustomed to.

After four years of having his legal tab covered, Trump sought to do whatever he wanted and racked up more legal cases than ex-wives.

With all his legal woes coming to a head recently. He longs for the days in office when Presidential Pardons were a perk of the gig. Not only would a second term protect him against prosecution. He could once again con his supporters into loading his financial war chest.

A recent New York Times article. Outlined Trump’s plans for a second term. They include: having the Department of Justice, FCC, IRS, and other agencies. Report directly to him. Career Civil Service employees who do not vote for Trump would be terminated. The Leadership of the FBI, CIA, and other intelligence-gathering organizations. Would be filled with Trump loyalists only. It’s the Autocratic playbook. That’s been used to topple many democracies. It is as far from what the President of the United States of America’s duties call for.

So it’s as clear as the orange makeup on Trump’s face. That it’s never been about the oath he swore. To protect this country and the people as President. It’s power, greed, and money that’s always been his muse.

Now the remaining Trump sycophants. Are the ones, footing the legal bills this time. One last con, from a professional swindler. That has no intention of getting the job done. With his freedom and financial stability. Firmly in the hands, of a shrinking crowd of marks. As long as the GOP continues to push his lies. His cultist base will line up to sell their morals for more of those red hats.
