Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Campaign Manager, Steals From East Palestine Train Derailment Victims

Jeremy Pelzer, of Cleveland.com has reported: “Isaiah Wartman: Greene’s former campaign manager, along with Michael Peppel and Luke Mahoney were ordered to pay more than “$50,000 in restitution and penalties for their roles in operating a phony East Palestine charity in the aftermath of a widely-publicized train derailment.”

In recent times, the political landscape has witnessed numerous cases of Republicans engaging in dishonest practices, betraying the trust of their supporters.

Add the 2020 campaign manager to Southern whack job Marjorie Taylor Greene to that list.

The bogus charity, which was called the Ohio Clean Water Fund, was supposed to donate money to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley after the derailed Norfolk Southern train spilled hazardous chemicals into the small Ohian town. Instead, they only donated $10,000 to the food bank and kept around 90% of the $149,000 donations for themselves.

Wartman and Mahoney worked to raise money for the “kayfabe” charity, by cold-texting potential donors. They raked in about $141,000 alone with this method.

Under the settlement, which came out Thursday, Wartman, and Mahoney were ordered to pay “$22,000 in restitution to the food bank and $3,000 in fees to the office of the Ohio Attorney General.”

In a sordid move, Cleveland Attorney Bryan Kostru would like us to believe that the real victims are the two sleazebags who defrauded people of thousands of dollars.

Kostru, who is representing both Wartman and Mahone, is claiming they’re victims of fraud too. According to him, Michael Peppel the co-founder of the Ohio Clean Fund Charity. Was the “mastermind” behind all of this and his clients were also “ bamboozle”.

When asked if his clients were going to take legal action against Peppel he did not comment. Hmm, I wonder why?

These fraudulent acts demonstrate a calculated and deliberate scheme designed to deceive those who support the Republican Party the most. Whether it’s Steve Bannon’s “We Build a Wall,” Donald Trump’s “Stop the Steal” or George Santos’ entire persona. Until conservative voters hold elected members of their party accountable, they will continue to lie and take advantage of them.
