It’s Time For Trump Supporters To Wake Up. The Presidency Was Just The Latest Failure, For America’s Greatest Loser.

As time goes by it seems people’s memories start to fade. For Trump supporters, this continued notion that Donald Trump was a successful president. Who accomplished his long list of campaign promises. Is such a false narrative that they either weren’t paying attention. Or they are so blinded by the orange glow of Trump. That it impedes their ability to distinguish reality from fiction.

Well, I think it’s time for those of us who aren’t blinded by Trump. To enlighten the misinformed MAGA supporters to the facts. Let’s remind them of Trump’s long list of failures. As a businessman and as the nation’s 45th president. When you take the time to sift through the evidence. It becomes clear as day. Donald Trump may be the most prolific loser in the history of this great country.

Trump’s whole Presidential run was built on the premise that he was a brilliant businessman. He vowed to take his business success and translate it into a triumphant term in Office. It turns out his track record did follow him to the Presidency. Sadly that background is filled with bankruptcies due to his negligence.

No matter the venture, Trump was a repeated underachiever. Whose incompetence led to countless endeavors going belly up. He has been dependent on his Father’s wealth, since day one. Trump began his career at the top and rode it down toward multiple failings. Much like his infamous escalator ride into the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

According to Forbes. “Had [Donald] Trump done nothing but invest the money his father gave him in an index fund that tracks the Standard & Poor’s 500, he would be worth $1.96 billion today.”

You would assume, a man who claims to be so business savvy. Would be worth considerably more today. It appears as though his true money-making skills came in the form of tax evasion. As for his list of bankrupt companies. They include casinos, mortgage companies, universities, and bottled water. Just to name a few. Traditionally businesses which flourish, under competent leadership. Honestly, there are so many business failures. It’s easier to watch the short clip below. A major MAGA excuse that you often hear. Intended to absolve Trump of his failures in office. Is that if it wasn’t for the Covid 19 pandemic Trump would have been successful. The truth is that the pandemic most likely would have been contained in China. If Trump had lost the 2016 election.

The Obama administration had created a U.S. Pandemic Response Team. A collection of 5,000+ Doctors and Scientists stationed around the globe. To search and contain potential pandemic-causing diseases in their infancy. COVID-19 would have been immediately suppressed by the Response Team. Had Trump not dismantled it a year prior. The millions of lives lost and the collapse of the World’s economy. Should lie firmly on top of Trump’s long list of failures.

Obama’s Pandemic Response Team was just the start of Trump’s campaign to undermine the previous administration’s achievements. Accomplishments that made the world a safer place were gone in an instant. Including the Paris Climate Accord which was a global effort to combat climate change. Or the Iran Nuclear Agreement that kept Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Now gone allowing Iran to jumpstart their nuclear program. Also, Trump’s repeated attempts to undermine our NATO alliance. Giving Putin the confidence, that led to his invasion of Ukraine. America’s longtime allies were repeatedly disrespected by the Trump administration. While dictators Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-Un, and Mohammed Bin Salman were embraced by Trump. As he envied their totalitarian grip on power. Something he tried to accomplish, with his January 6th insurrection. After he lost the election to President Biden.

Trump sycophants point to his tax cuts while in office. As proof of his effort to help the common man. In truth, it let America’s 400 wealthiest families pay less in taxes by percentage than the poor and middle classes. It also slashed the taxes for some of the largest corporations in the country. Similar outcomes came from his COVID stimulus package which 80% went to Millionaires, Billionaires, and huge corporations. In place of the Mom and Pop everyday Americans, it was intended for. These two initiatives raised the deficit by at least 40%. While the poor and middle class saw nearly none of that money. President Biden’s stimulus package successfully reached those Americans in need. Biden was also able to cut the deficit in each year in Office. Even Trump’s China tariffs sold as a way to make China pay its fair share. Ended up costing American consumers $34 Billion a year.

As far as his promises during the 2016 campaign. He felt short on nearly every single one. The huge infrastructure bill he promised never happened. It took the Biden administration to get that accomplished. Same with Trump’s vow to cut prescription drug prices. Again something Trump failed to do, was completed by the Biden team. Trump also claimed he would bring the steel industry back. Sadly the industry fell into a sharp decline. However, under the Biden infrastructure plan, U.S. Steel has had an all-time resurgence. Trump said he would be a job creator. Unemployment under Trump was at the highest it has been since the Great Depression. Once again Biden came to the rescue. Adding more jobs than any other President in history. Trump’s foreshadowing of an epic stock market crash if Biden were elected also never occurred. The stock market during Biden’s tenure has reached all-time highs.

Most importantly he said the country would be safer under a Trump administration. With no gun legislation to speak of. During Trump’s tenure mass shootings reached the highest level in history. Not to mention the sharp increase in hate crimes and police brutality incidents. Which led to nationwide protests to condemn the violence and hateful rhetoric of President Trump. That did nothing to fix the problem and further divided America.

With all of these failures, you might ask what did President Trump accomplish? He did manage to sneak 3 Supreme Court justices onto the highest court in the land. Which in turn led to the overturning of Rowe vs. Wade. Stripping women’s rights to control their reproductive care. Those justices were also instrumental in allowing religious bigotry to supersede personal liberties. He removed asylum seeker intake offices throughout the world. This is what led to caravans of immigrants making the treacherous journey to the Southern border. Creating a border crisis never previously seen. His response was to blame Democrats and separate children from their parents. Creating a humanitarian crisis on top of the border chaos he had caused. He also goes down in history as the only President to spend 1/4th of his days in office on the golf course. After he repeatedly claimed Barrack Obama was constantly on vacation. When the truth was Obama took less time off than all of his predecessors. Under Trump’s watch, opioids overtook car accidents as a leading cause of death among Americans. So yes he was able to achieve some things no other President before him could. Just not anything you’ll hear at his cultish rallies.

So for all of those who still claim that the country was in a better place under Donald Trump. It’s time to take off your blinders and ask yourself. How did he improve your quality of life? For the millions of Americans, who died or lost their jobs due to his incompetence. It’s as clear as the orange makeup on his face. Trump is not only one of the greatest failures in the business world. He is easily one of the worst American presidents to ever do the job. He should be held liable for all of those lost to COVID. Let’s not forget he was the architect of an armed insurrection. Intended to replace the peaceful transfer of power. All to achieve his autocratic wet dreams. While simultaneously eroding our democracy. It took just one four-year term for him to cause so much harm. Just imagine the damage a career loser like Trump. Could inflict on our precious democracy. If Republican voters grant him four more years in office. It’s a terrifying thought, that could soon be our reality. If those who are blinded by his lies, don’t wake up to the truth.
