Kevin McCarthy Is Classless In His Farewell Speech To Reporters

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy in his farewell address to the media after being ousted from his Speakership. Decided to use the moment to pass blame which should be no surprise to those who have followed the classless leader’s career.

Along with the small group of MAGA Republicans who created this chaos, he turned his ire toward President Joe Biden and the Democrats. He even blamed Nancy Pelosi for his decision to enable the MAGA crew by allowing them to oust the Speaker with just one member. McCarthy added that it is impossible to govern when eight members of your party can join the opposition to vote against you. When Speaker Pelosi was able to sign a historic amount of generational legislation with a similar majority.

McCarthy also said that the damage Democrats caused the Congress after January 6th was what put the governing body into disarray. It was McCarthy who originally reprimanded Trump for orchestrating the attack on Congress that tragic day. Only to go hat in hand to Mar-A-Largo to kiss Trump’s ring a few weeks later. Which gave the disgraced former president the political clout to take back control of the Republican Party.

He then went on to compare Vladimir Putin to Hitler but said President Biden has not done enough to address the support to Ukraine. When it was McCarthy’s unruly party that became anti-democracy and made the removal of the Ukraine funding a negotiating demand.

McCarthy even told reporters at one point that their lies were unnecessary and destructive. This coming from a Speaker who is infamous for reneging on negotiated agreements and consistently lying to the American public.

So farewell Kevin McCarthy. You will go down in history as the first Speaker to ever get voted out of his position and pass the lowest amount of legislation ever. Now you and Trump can sit around at Mar-A-Largo complaining how the Democrats forced you to become the worst Speaker and President of all time. Two classless Republicans who have no one to blame for their epic failures but themselves.
