On Behalf Of Bostonians, I Apologize To Kamala Harris For The Treatment She Received From Protesters!!!

Vice President Kamala Harris was in Boston today to attend an event at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown. Her presence was met with pro-Palestinian protesters who were blaming the VP for the current situation in the Gaza Strip.

The thing about Boston for those of you not familiar with the city. Is that over a hundred Universities are located in and around the Boston Area. From September through June 250,000 students from around the world call the city of Boston home. With a non-student population of only around 650,000, the city is the definition of a melting pot. A city rich in history and diversity that has overcome its racial divisions that were well documented in the 70’s. To become one of the most inclusive cities in the world.

With a large portion of those protesting the V.P., being attendees of one of the vast number of Universities in the area. It should come as no surprise that none of the higher learning institutions have common sense in their curriculum. For as much as we love the diverse opinions that students from all over the globe bring, they don’t necessarily speak for those of us who call Boston home. As I wrote in a previous article, President Joe Biden is the one world leader who is spearheading the humanitarian efforts in Gaza and pressuring Israel to mitigate civilian casualties. So blaming him for the devastating crisis that has taken place in the region is narrow-minded. However, even if you were to believe that Biden bears responsibility for the suffering of Palestinians because he supports Israel’s right to defend their citizens. Why would you blame Kamala Harris for that?

That would be like holding Mike Pence responsible for the January 6th insurrection or Al Gore being held liable for the Monica Lewinsky affair. Where will this “six degrees of separation” end with this awful humanitarian catastrophe? Because I know that it should start with Hamas full stop. Yet those protesting this mounting crisis seem to give a pass to the terrorist organization that created this chaos. Yes, Israel needs to do more to prevent Palestinian casualties but how the Vice President of the United States is to blame for that just doesn’t compute.

So on behalf of my fellow Bostonians let me apologize to Kamala Harris for the protesters’ misguided frustrations over a noble cause. Until they stop getting their news from TikTok the propaganda arm of the Chinese government. They will continue to exonerate Hamas by scapegoating people like the Vice President. Which only discredits a worthy movement that deserves a robust platform. Kamala Harris is always welcomed here in Boston no matter what today’s protesters say. Because We The People of Boston welcome all who are as inclusive as her. Maybe those protesting could stand to benefit from listening to such a compassionate person as her. As you can see, in her own words, she also understands who Bostonians truly are.
