Jonathan Miller an attorney for Trump Co-defendant Misty Hampton admitted in court today that he was the one responsible for leaking the Jenna Ellis video. The video which is part of the State’s evidence, showed Ellis admitting that Trump had no intention of leaving office after losing the 2020 Presidential Election to Joe Biden.
Although Miller claims the public had a right to know the contents of the tape, leaking it not only puts a negative spotlight on Ellis but could also be considered witness intimidation. Knowing how the MAGA Cult operates, Ellis will surely face threats from Trump supporters. If the Trump team can make an example out of Ellis, other witnesses and Co-defendants may think twice about cooperating with prosecutors in fear of public retaliation.
I would not be surprised to hear that Trump was the one who orchestrated this stunt but as of now, Miller has taken full responsibility. It’s just the latest example of how Trump and his cohorts have no respect for the judicial system and are willing to push the limits. These underhanded tactics will continue to occur until they face serious consequences. Let’s hope that it doesn’t take some deranged Trump supporter causing physical harm or even lethal violence to someone involved in his criminal cases. Before substantial legal action is taken against Trump for interfering with the judiciary process.
