BUENOS AIRES, (Reuters) – “Argentina elected right-wing libertarian Javier Milei as its new president on Sunday, rolling the dice on an outsider with radical views to fix an economy battered by triple-digit inflation, a looming recession and rising poverty.
Milei, who rode a wave of voter anger with the political mainstream, won by a wider-than-expected margin. He landed some 56% of the vote versus just over 44% for his rival, Peronist Economy Minister Sergio Massa, who conceded.”
Right-wing extremist and chainsaw cosplay enthusiast Javier Milei won the Presidential Election held in Argentina yesterday. Milei who often dresses up as a chainsaw-wielding superhero is now the President of the 8th largest country in the world.
Milei has been called a political outsider by his supporters. However, the only thing Milei truly appears outside of is his mental competency. Besides blowing up the Central Bank of Argentina, Milei’s other campaign promise was to make the American dollar the new currency of the country he now oversees. A former tantric sex teacher who cloned his dead dog Conan who, from the doggy park in the sky, still gives him political advice. It’s astounding the state of right-wing candidates in democracies when Trump is now the 2nd worst decision a country has ever made.
Taking shots out of George Santos’s navage nasal care system would’ve been a better choice than the one the Argentinian people have just made. Let’s hope that such a foolish move will wake up the American electorate to the realization that a large portion of the population is willing to watch the world burn. A decision to refrain from voting because you feel President Biden is too old. Most likely will result in the United States succumbing to the same disastrous mob mentality that won out in Argentina.
Even if you feel that President Biden could possibly have some mental decline. At least his baseline starts at an intelligent level. Compare that to Trump and Milei who on their best day top off at south of acute psychosis. Not to mention that if Trump were to be elected he would be the oldest person ever to be elected President. So no matter who gets the nod it’s going to be an old man.
So America let’s not make the same mistake as Argentina. Elect the wise old man who plans to strengthen our democracy while continuing to build our economy by creating opportunities for the working classes. Otherwise the geriatric sexual deviant with an authoritarian agenda who already tried to overthrow the government. Will once again be the leader of what will then be known as the formerly free world. Elections have profound consequences that have lasting effects. A lesson you’d think the United States would have learned from Trump’s first abomination of a Presidential term. Now Argentina faces themselves because they chose to elect an unemployed sex worker who gets his barking orders from the ghost of his dead dog.
