(The Independent)–The Lincoln Project, an anti-Trump PAC, released a foul ad doubling down on allegations that former president Donald Trump smells.
Claims around the former president’s alleged odour erupted earlier this week when former Illinois Republican representative Adam Kinzinger tweeted, “I’m genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven’t talked about the odor. It’s truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can.”
The Lincoln Project seized upon the resulting social media firestorm with a video advertisement on Saturday, with the caption: “Is that you Donald? #TrumpSmells.”
True American Patriot and Trump Truther Adam Kinszinger started a back-and-forth with the criminal defendant Trump over his legendary body odor. Trump responded to mounting testimonials from multiple sources on this matter by invoking the tried and tested ricochet method of “You smelt it, you dealt it” as his rebuttal to Kinszinger. Claiming it was Kinszinger’s own farts that he was smelling, not Trump’s McDonald’s dumpster aroma that permeates through his Cheeto dust-colored skin.
This bodily stench whataboutism is just par for the course with Trump. Whatever the accusations that are levied at Trump, his knee-jerk reaction is always to blame his adversaries for his shortcomings. Kinszinger is just the latest to publicly accuse the odorous man-child of hygiene violations. Kathy Griffin on Trump’s niece Mary’s podcast claimed “Donald has a distinct smell that doesn’t really get enough press. It’s like body odor with kind of like a scented, makeup product—you can smell the hair products even outdoors,” she said, which caused Mary Trump to cringe.
Now we have the anti-Trump Republican group “The Lincoln Project” joining in on the fun by creating an advertisement comparing Trump’s fragrance to a steaming pile of animal dung. Further promoting the hilarious narrative. Knowing the depths of Trump’s narcissism and egotistical obsession with what the media and public are saying about him. If this starts to gain enough traction it just might be what finally causes him to have a complete mental collapse.
Imagine Trump’s outrage, if in all of his future court appearances, the sketch artist were to draw in stink lines coming from his pregnant kangaroo-shaped physique. As if he were the criminally treasonous version of “Pigpen” from “Charlie Brown.” An illustration of that level of comedic genius and historical importance could launch a special one-time final edition of “Mad” magazine and have a final resting place in the Smithsonian.
I’m just curious to see how his MAGATS (MAGA Trump Supporters) will spin this negative into cult propaganda. My guess is, that they will most likely say Joe Biden smells like soup or some other unoriginal old man imagery like that. Because this time their overused rhetoric that Antifa is the true culprit, just wouldn’t pass the smell test on this Trump factuality.
