The statement continued, directly attacking Comer for “quickly” agreeing with Trump’s lawyers to bury further evidence, blocking Oversight Dems from discovering additional documents.
“Comer prevented Oversight Democrats from finding out how many more foreign governments made unconstitutional payments to Donald Trump, including payments from: Azerbaijan, Russia, South Korea, Georgia, Nambia, Romania, Costa Rica, South Africa and Brazil,” it read.”
In the least shocking news since the 2018 Russian Presidential Election was “won” by Vladimir Putin. Donald Trump has been exposed by the House Democrats Oversight Committee for profiting off of foreign governments while serving as President of the United States. Which is as unconstitutional as it gets and something that Republicans have been trying, to no avail, to bust President Joe Biden for.
The very same Republicans, including House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, have uncovered no evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden. Yet have purposefully obstructed the investigation into Donald Trump. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about the serial hypocrisy and blatant corruption of today’s Republican leadership. Then you are suffering from rapid cognitive decline and need to immediately stop reading this. Then go to the best neurologist that your insurance will cover. Either that or you’re a MAGAT Republican and I would still recommend that you have your brain checked.
Even the fact that Trump was profiting from foreign governments, is so on brand for the nation’s most prolific con artist. This is the same guy who was overcharging the American taxpayers for his Secret Service members and other U.S. government officials to stay at his multiple properties. Even though they were supposed to be closed during the pandemic. He was literally adding to the national deficit while lining his own pockets with the overcharged funds.
Another treasonous act that was swept under the rug by House Republicans. Don’t even get me started on how his son-in-law/ the guy married to his hall pass and daughter Ivanka, Jared Kushner. Just happened to score a 2 billion dollar paycheck from Saudi Arabia after a 100 billion dollar arms deal was signed by Trump’s Administration. The total scope of Trump’s corruption will probably never be discovered, but in just one four-year term the estimates of his misdeeds must be approaching infinite. It’ll take years of investigations to understand the actual scale of Trump’s unethical and unconstitutional actions.
So I suggest that we start going after those Republicans who not only enabled Trump’s crime spree but also knowingly obstructed Democrats from getting to the truth. On the top of that list is James Comer. The man who, all along, has known the depths of Trump’s criminality, but still weaponized the House Oversight Committee. To go after his political opponent President Biden. How do you know what crimes Republicans have committed? It’s whatever accusations they blame on Democrats. The only thing modern-day Republicans excel at over the Democratic Party is their perfection in the art of whataboutism.
