(Newsweek)–Jim Jordan claimed the Republican Party had secured “damning evidence” in President Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry, despite that evidence coming from a Hunter Biden associate who said he was not aware of any wrongdoing by the president.
Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary, one of the panels involved in the inquiry, was asked by Fox News on Sunday about how it was progressing. He said “the most damning evidence we got thus far is what we got from Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s business partner, because he says what they were selling was the brand.
However Archer, who served with Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma and testified before the House Oversight Committee in July 2023, has not confirmed Republican accusations of bad practice by Joe Biden.
In a transcript of his testimony before the committee, he was asked if he was aware of any wrongdoing by the president.
“No. I’m not aware of any,” Archer said. He also said he had no knowledge of Joe Biden having involvement with Burisma and rejected claims that the president and Hunter Biden each accepted a $5-million bribe from an official within the company.
Yes folks, there you have it, Jim Jordan playing on his home turf on Fox News, where the journalistic pushback Republicans receive is on par with “The Bachelor in Paradise” wrap-up show. Yet Jordan, in his own words, proved that the impeachment case of President Joe Biden has zero evidence of wrongdoing.

If that’s what they consider their smoking gun. Then someone should be the bearer of bad news because there is no smoke coming from any gun. In fact, that’s just Jim Jordan’s thumb and pointer finger in the shape of a gun and the smoke is coming out of Jordan as he attempts to blow it up the ass of the American public.
Archer, Hunter Biden’s business partner was quite clear in his testimony. That President Biden had nothing to do with their business dealings and at no point in time did he benefit from Hunter’s work. From Archer’s description of the President and his son’s relationship. He made Joe Biden seem like a caring father who just wanted to keep in touch with his son Hunter.
However, the mainstream media loves to run with these Republican accusations knowing that there is no evidence to corroborate their allegations. Yet that doesn’t stop them from printing headlines and reporting stories about the impeachment investigation as if there were credibility to them. It’s a narrative in search of evidence.
Imagine the police told you that they think you committed a crime. They have no evidence of any criminal activity taking place or reports of a crime being committed. But for some reason, you just rub them the wrong way. So according to their theory, you must be guilty of something. They plan to rip your life apart till they produce something. Until then they tell the media about all this stuff that they want you to be guilty of. So the media reports: “The police are saying they think so and so did this”. Again, no evidence of wrongdoing, just fabricated theories that they want to be true. Now, of course, the public thinks that if it’s on the news the police think so and so committed a crime. Then they must know something that we don’t.
It’s a fact-less attempt by Republicans to muddy the waters because they can’t have the media coverage only be about Trump being criminally charged in 90+ felonies. When voters go to decide on Trump or Biden. The unaware voters now think that both parties are involved in illegal activities. The media is an active participant in leveling the political playing field just to get views, clicks, and ratings. The game is rigged and the only thing you can do to fix it is to educate yourself. By only following the facts and ignoring the opinions of the talking heads. Reading the headlines only, makes you complicit in this direct attack on our democracy. So please, don’t be part of the problem, be the solution. Knowledge is power!! The power of We the People!!
