(New York Daily News)–“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Wednesday trashed a white Republican colleague for saying Hunter Biden is the “epitome of white privilege” after the presidential son crashed a congressional hearing.
The firebrand progressive lawmaker denounced Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) for playing the race card in attacking Hunter Biden.
Ocasio-Cortez, who represents parts of Queens and the Bronx, said Mace has no business purporting to speak about racism when she joined GOP allies in disbanding a sub-committee focusing on civil rights.“
Nancy Mace is quickly becoming the Republican punching bag that keeps on giving. She has taken more verbal knock-out punches, over calling Hunter Biden’s actions “White Privilege”, than all of Mike Tyson’s opponents combined. Even Zach Galifianakis, who Tyson actually knocked out during the filming of The Hangover. Had an easier time shaking off the devastating effects he suffered, than Congresswoman Mace has, after taking embarrassing verbal beatdowns from multiple Democrats.
Mace was on the receiving end of House Democrat Superstar Jasmine Crockett’s inspiring oral comeback. Publicly thumping the self-righteous Nancy Mace for the same holier-than-thou comments that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took her to task for in the video above. In both cases Mace found herself fighting in an intelligence weight class far above her competency level.
She should stick to challenging the women on her side of the aisle like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert where she would be the odds-on favorite in a battle of wits. At least get a couple of W’s under her belt during Republican infighting before she decides to step back in the ring with her Democratic Heavyweight counterparts.
Especially when Nancy Mace is far more concerned with her presence on social media than she is with creating constructive legislation for the American people. She can’t be remotely happy with the amount of likes coming at her expense with these videos of Crockett and AOC going viral. Mace has found out the hard way that social media isn’t as much fun when it’s weaponized against you.
Maybe having her hypocrisy plastered all over the internet will inspire a “Come to Jesus” moment for the South Carolina right-winger? Who am I kidding, GOP members are so firmly encased in a political echo chamber, Mace probably thinks she nailed her ridiculous statement about Hunter Biden. Seeing as the only feedback making it into her DM’s is more than likely “Congrats on owning the Libs”. Coming from followers who wouldn’t know the meaning of “White Privilege” even if their butler made a call, on behalf of their C.F.O. Father, to the in-house legal team to explain it.
