Trump Sabotaging Border Talks Proves It’s Credit, Not Solutions, He Seeks!!!

(CNN) — “Former President Donald Trump’s push to kill a bipartisan immigration deal may now derail a major national security package, forcing Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to suggest a new course of action and endangering aid to Ukraine and Israel in the process.

According to a GOP source familiar with the matter, McConnell told Republicans at a private Wednesday meeting that they are in a “quandary,” given that bipartisan talks over immigration have created intraparty feuding and may have closed off a path to getting a massive package approved this Congress.

The new doubts come as House Republicans – with the encouragement of Trump, who is railing on immigration as a top election issue – are revolting over the bipartisan talks, even before they’ve concluded. Republicans were already divided over whether to approve any aid to Ukraine, even as they have insisted that the border must be dealt with before Ukraine aid can be approved. On top of that, the House Republican demand to pass their border security bill – HR 2 – is a non-starter with Democrats.

During the meeting, McConnell read a quote from Trump in 2018 that cast doubt on Democrats ever voting for border security, a message to his GOP colleagues that this may be the best opportunity Republicans have to get border security in decades.”

We have a saying here in the great state of Massachusetts that goes: “The dawn breaks on Marblehead.” As Greater Bostonians, we describe this profound statement as “The wicked classy way to say, the moment, when even the 💩 for brains in the group, figures it out.”

At this point, with the overwhelming amount of documented evidence, you’d expect even the dullest knife in the MAGA draw. Would realize that Donald Trump has only ever cared about one thing in his entire life, himself. Yet here we are, watching in real-time, as Trump is publicly sabotaging the solution to what he describes as “the worst crisis in American history.” For the sole purpose of taking credit for himself and denying the Biden Administration the due admiration for tackling such a complex issue.

This comes just a week or so removed from Trump complaining about the robust economy under Biden’s leadership. Stating he wished for the collapse of the current economic boom. At the expense of millions of hardworking Americans who would suffer the consequences of such a disaster. If these two clear signs of self-serving political sabotage. Haven’t illuminated Trump’s true intentions of having the power of the Presidency, while ignoring the duty of the office. I don’t know how many examples are needed, to convince those who are blinded by the orange glow permeating from Trump’s soulless body. That the man is and will always continue to be a selfish con man at his core.

It’s not even Democrats who are the ones complaining that Trump is purposely trying to wreck the best immigration package Republicans may ever get. It’s his colleagues in the GOP who are flabbergasted by Trump’s plans to ruin the one political high ground Republicans can campaign against Democrats on. Imagine the hypocrisy of Republicans if they follow through with Trump’s wishes. For decades the Right Wing has falsely put the entire blame of immigration problems on the backs of Democrats. Yet Republicans have refused to tackle the issue, even during times of total control of Congress and the Presidency, including Trump’s one term. A bipartisan bill fixing the Republican talking point is on the cusp of being passed. If Trump is successful in derailing this deal. How can he ever be trusted to do what’s best for the country? The answer is he can’t!

Even the biggest 💩 for brains can figure that out. However, I fear that the cult of MAGA takes the individual 💩 head and multiplies their ignorance through a mob mentality. So the single “Marblehead” believes more in the MAGA narrative than their own intuition. So the question is not “When will the dawn break on Marblehead?” It’s now “Will the dawn ever break on the MAGATS?”
