(Meidas Touch Network)–“James Comer and Jim Jordan have been in all-out panic mode the past couple days, scrambling to defend themselves on why the foundation of their entire impeachment investigation of Joe Biden was premised on Russian disinformation that they have been peddling for two years.
Yesterday, Jim Jordan tried to claim that their case against Biden is still strong despite the fact that it was based on lies from the Kremlin, since the “fundamental facts” remain the same. However, previously Jordan said that the information provided by the informant in the 1023 was the corroboration they needed to prove the case. Now he wants the American people to believe that the Russian disinformation is no longer needed. The problem with his statement is that just about everything he said yesterday about the investigation was lie and he knows it, he’s just hoping his voters listen to him talking fast rattling off Ukrainian names will sound convincing.
Meanwhile, Jordan’s partner in fraud, James Comer, ducked and dodged reporters all day yesterday, then went to his happy place on Newsmax last night where nobody ever challenges what he has to say. He claimed that the Russian disinformation “wasn’t an important part of this investigation.” The problem for Comer is that just months ago he said the Russian disinformation was “a very crucial piece of our investigation.”
Today, Comer and Jordan quietly deleted the previous reference to their House Impeachment website of the Russian disinformation that they had previously touted as a critical part of their case. They made no statement or comment. Issued no retraction, correction or apology. Just simply deleted it hoping nobody would notice. Like everything else these hapless fools do, it didn’t work.”
Even in the face of well-deserved relentless ridicule, House Republicans continue to plow through defiantly. After being exposed as trafficking in Russian propaganda. Sticking to their embellished narrative after learning they have been pawns, sent to spread Putin’s lies to the American public. But there must be a limit to the amount of damage their fabricated rhetoric can cause to the reputation of the sitting President. Before Republicans find themselves staring down the barrel of a criminal prosecution.
Claiming to be a pack of idiots can only protect Republicans for so long. Especially when their response to applicable criticism is to erase the long trail of stupidity they left in their wake. Covering their tracks by whitewashing GOP complicity. Instead of taking the loss and apologizing to President Biden and the U.S. electorate. This raises questions about whether they were truly in the dark about Russian involvement. Considering Republicans had already been warned of the credibility issues facing their “trusted source”. Despite that pertinent intelligence they still chose to use his fake account as the foundation of their impeachment efforts.
If Republicans are now publicly erasing any traces of this latest cooperation between Russia and the GOP. Imagine the chaotic scenes taking place in private. Vigorously scrubbing all instances of knowledge, pertaining to adversarial accomplices. There must be a reason why Republicans have insisted on holding hearings of the Biden impeachment behind closed doors. At once thought to be a mechanism for controlling the media narrative, to the citizens of this country. Now feels far more nefarious when the evidence proves Russia is the author of the scripts Republicans continue to quote from. The time has come for the Justice Department to connect the dots from the House Republicans to Trump via Putin.
When you couple the GOP was cautioned about the reliability of the Russian informant with the fact that Republicans had been previously duped by a Chinese Spy. Who was also “key” to their impeachment investigation, when evidence emerged of moonlighting for the People’s Republic of China. You would assume “vetting of sources” would’ve jumped to the top of the Republican’s to-do list. Instead of the, “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, how dare you call me a fool!” approach they have decidedly taken. Just because the Republican Party’s political agenda falls in line with false Russian and Chinese propaganda. Doesn’t make it true and or legal for Republicans to weaponize it as a tool, intended to regain power at any cost. Although, denigrating your opponent might be a common practice in politics. Using the full weight of a governing body under foreign influence is at least unethical and should be charged as illegal Election Interference. If the slightest whiff of prior knowledge is proven or after it comes to light the Republicans don’t choose to close the matter.
