N.C. GOP School Nominee Called For The Execution Of Democrats!!!

(CNN) — “The Republican nominee for superintendent overseeing North Carolina’s public schools and its $11 billion budget has a history marked by extreme and controversial comments, including sharing baseless conspiracy theories and frequent calls for the execution of prominent Democrats.

Michele Morrow, a conservative activist who last week upset the incumbent Superintendent of Public Instruction in North Carolina’s Republican primary, expressed support in 2020 for the televised execution of former President Barack Obama and suggested killing then-President-elect Joe Biden.

In other comments on social media between 2019 and 2021 reviewed by CNN’s KFile, Morrow made disturbing suggestions about executing prominent Democrats for treason, including Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Hillary Clinton, Sen. Chuck Schumer and other prominent people such as Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates.”

For having the reputation of being a purple state. North Carolina has been scraping the bottom of the dumpster to find these extremely unhinged and potentially dangerous Republican candidates. First, it was the bigoted Lt Governor Mark Robinson the GOP nominee for Governor. Now we are being introduced to the GOP’s nominee for North Carolina’s School Superintendent Michele Morrow. A Qanan worshipper who appears to have an unquenching thirst for executing Democrats. It’s quite shocking that this is the candidate who Republicans felt would be most qualified to head their public school system. Especially considering Morrow homeschooled her own kids instead of allowing them a public education.

In a state like North Carolina where they have almost an exact split down the middle politically. Nominees like Morrow and Robinson expose just how extreme the Republican Party has become. How could any rational parent consider voting for Morrow to be in charge of their children’s education and safety while at school? When she can’t even silence her crazed thoughts on a public forum like the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. That type of deranged behavior should be sounding off alarm bells to families on both sides of the aisle.

You hear experienced educators all the time discussing the importance of “conflict resolution” within their school districts. Imagine Morrow’s position on solving problems she will undoubtedly face if elected Superintendent. Can we expect “Homeroom Hangings” and “Free period firing squads” to resolve underlying issues between her subordinates, faculty, and students? As much as I’m joking, I still wouldn’t want her anywhere near children. If she displays zero self-control online, how can Morrow possibly be trusted to exercise good judgment at work?

Democrats aren’t the only section of the population Morrow has a problem with. She also has a long history of Islamophobia. So if elected her ideology would immediately go against more than 50% of the student body’s background she’d be tasked with overseeing. Her ultimate goal is to dismantle the State’s Board of Education which would give her complete control over North Carolina’s public schools. Which should also concern those looking to maintain a separation of church and state.

Removing her oversight organization is a very slippery slope, that could lead to Morrow’s implementation of a religious foundation in the educational system. Another full-on assault from Christian Nationalists looking to expand their religious authority over our nation’s youth. Just like Trump and Lt Gov Robinson, Michele Morrow must be stopped at the ballot box come November. If these are the very best candidates Republicans can offer, then it’s up to the voting electorate to send them a clear message. Either fix your party’s obsession with promoting extremists or get used to a future of embarrassing election defeats as the new norm for the GOP.
