Man Suspected Of Setting Sanders Office Ablaze
(CNN) — “A fire at independent Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Vermont office on Friday was intentionally set, according to local fire officials.
The Burlington fire marshal’s office said it “deemed this fire incendiary in nature” and the investigation is now being handled by the Vermont State Police and the Burlington Police Department.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at Sanders’ third-floor office and found a fire in the vestibule between the elevator and the entrance door to his office, the fire marshal’s office said.
The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries. The office and surrounding areas were evacuated. There was some moderate fire and water damage, officials said.”
(CEO)— Breaking News coming out of Burlington Vermont. Fire Officials are investigating an incident at Senator Bernie Sanders’s Burlington office because of suspected arson. Thankfully no one was injured during the fire, but it’s been confirmed that the blaze was intentionally set. By a man who was captured by camera footage as seen above.
As details become available about the suspect and if it comes to light this was a politically motivated crime. Which in the age of MAGA, is sadly a reality because of the violent rhetoric used by Donald Trump and other right-wing extremists. This begs the question of whether it was possibly payback. You see, last night Bernie Sanders and President Biden viciously burned Trump verbally in the above-posted video.
In it, they mocked Trump’s private remarks to a crowd of his rich friends about his intentions to further cut taxes for his corporate and wealthy donors alike. The very reason why Trump plans to cut social services like Medicare, Social Security, and Obama Care. Solely to offset the devastating financial burden tax cuts for the top 1% would have on the nation’s deficit and the strength of the economy.
Could simply exposing Trump by using his own damning words against him, be reason enough for someone to enact political revenge on Sanders? I truly hope that isn’t what the country has devolved into because we must strive to be better than that. Clearly, this is speculation, but when you have a political climate so deeply divided. That an arsonist just happens to ignite the office of one of Trump’s staunchest opponents. It’s hard to imagine anything less than this destructive behavior being politically motivated.
As much as having your office burnt to the ground sucks, I must admit, it just might be worth it if that’s the cost you pay for a Biden/Sanders campaign video so savagely impactful. If MAGATS feel so threatened by the truth coming to light, regarding Trump’s failed policies. They better quickly temper their emotions because at this rate they’ll never survive long enough to vote in November. Either due to felonious activity or simply because of stress-related overreactions leading to psychiatric committal. Especially as the Biden camp continues its all-out assault on Trump’s inflated ego, lack of integrity, and absence of intelligence. Proving fact-based intellectual rebuttals can be far more impactful to the public’s perception than the actions of a deranged individual setting fire to a political opponent’s office. Or as his parents refer to him, arson.
