(The Guardian)–“As Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has cemented its hold on the Republican National Committee (RNC), alarms are being raised about the organisation’s tapping of the fervent election denialist Christina Bobb to run an “election integrity” unit.
Bobb is a former Trump lawyer and ex-reporter for the far-right One America News Network, who gained prominence after Trump’s 2020 loss for promoting bogus fraud charges in Arizona, Wisconsin and elsewhere, and was part of Trump-backed efforts to substitute fake electors for ones that Joe Biden won in some states.
Bobb helped spread phoney voting fraud claims with Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the former campaign operative Mike Roman, both of whom along with Trump and others face charges in Fulton county, Georgia, of conspiring to overturn Biden’s win there; Bobb was not charged.
Last year Bobb wrote Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024, a book that was chock full of baseless charges about 2020 election fraud.”
(CEO)— If announcements like this one weren’t so GD alarming and pose a clear threat to American democracy. You would think that the RNC was intentionally trolling the public, just for 💩’s and giggles. Because in the real world, no one displaying this level of inept hypocritical decision-making should be taken seriously.
Christina Bob, is mostly known for, her inability to speak the truth, surrounding election results. So much so, that her resume reads like “how to guide” for spreading false election propaganda. She’s been sued by multiple voting machine companies including Dominion and Smartmatic. For defamation, by fabricating election fraud claims as an OAN television correspondent. A network that is so drastically right, it makes Fox News seem like MSNBC in comparison.
Bob, had the unfortunate privilege, of working closely with Rudy Giuliani, helping him orchestrate the failed fake electors scheme. She was also integral in Donald Trump’s classified documents hoarding humiliation, along with the coverup that ensued. In which she knowingly lied to the FBI on Trump’s behalf on official government records. Christina Bob may be considered the Forrest Gump of election dishonesty. No matter what segment, of Trump’s attempted overthrow of a free and fair election, Bob’s played a significant role throughout the course of this historically tragic period. However, her greatest achievement, thus far, has been her ability to successfully avoid criminal prosecution.
How ironic to install this MAGA character as an “election integrity unit” leader. A Woman, most notoriously known for, disregarding the will of the American voters, for her own political gain. Leave it to the Republican National Committee, AKA The Desperate Housewives Of Mar-A-Largo, to announce this joke a week after April Fools had already passed. The only way Christina Bob could possibly have an ounce of “Election Integrity” in her, would be if that’s what she nicknames her sex toys. Sadly, this is the distorted MAGA reality we are currently living in.
Stayed tuned for other RNC upcoming appointments, like “Fact-Checking Czar” George Santos. Or maybe Alex Jones as “Strategic Tragedy Relations Coordinator”. At this point, you can’t put anything past Republicans’ deliberate attempts to undermine the American political landscape. Every day in this dystopian MAGA era of politics, life feels like a twisted nightmare. If the electorate doesn’t soon wake-up from, they will sleepwalk our country directly into a Trump dictatorship. It’s now or never for Americans to rise up and save this beloved nation, from its self-inflicted demise.
