Debunking Trump’s Claims He’s An “ANTI-WAR” President!!!

(Responsible Statecraft)–“Claiming (without evidence) that he had opposed the invasion of Iraq, Trump lambasted the bipartisan foreign policy establishment for its decades of disastrous militarism. For a war-weary nation desperate for change, this was evidence enough that Trump would be different. The “anti-war” label stuck, and it would be repeated over and over, up to the very final days of his presidency.

Despite repeated PR stunts, Trump did not “bring the troops home” or “end endless wars.” In fact, Trump consistently added fuel to the fire, increasing troop levels, deepening reliance on private contractors, and dramatically scaling up aerial warfare. Where an end to endless war requires repealing the 2001 and 2002 Authorizations for Use of Military Force, Trump expanded conflicts under both. His term saw four consecutive years of growth of an already out-of-control Pentagon budget. And loosening even the minimal restrictions that were already in place, he expanded the United States’ deadly and unaccountable drone wars. Not only did Trump not end the wars he promised to, he worsened them, dropping more bombs, stoking further conflict, undermining the prospects of peace, and massively increasing the rate of civilian deaths.

Trump’s foreign policy was characterized above all by an aversion to diplomacy and a knee-jerk reliance on hostility. Attacking diplomatic relations and torpedoing successful multilateral agreements like the Iran nuclear deal, Trump instead tried to strongarm other countries into doing his bidding through threatening rhetoric, military brinkmanship, and suffocating sanctions.

Trump shredded the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, withdrew from the Open Skies Treaty that ensured transparency between the U.S., much of Europe, and Russia, and failed to extend the critical New START Treaty with Russia. He took an inconsistent, self-serving, and often antagonistic approach to negotiations with North Korea that nearly took us to nuclear war. Oh, and he wanted to nuke hurricanes. In short: the world is closer to nuclear war than it was before Trump took office.”

(CEO)—Part of the goal here is to explore and expose some of the false narratives and outright lies surrounding Donald Trump’s tenure in office. Trump himself, often manipulates, while the media mostly overlooks it. Due, in part, because the list of Trump’s fabrications is so overwhelming. For example, before this morning’s courtroom appearance, where he’s given free rein to lie to the American public. Part of his diatribe was condemning Biden for the ongoing conflicts taking place across the globe. Claiming under his leadership the world was a much safer place.

However, what Trump refuses to acknowledge is the wars being fought today can directly be attributed to his failed policies. Trump’s personal vendetta against the NATO alliance emboldened Russia to finish the invasion of Ukraine. Reporting suggests the quid pro quo he had previously agreed upon with Putin was to dismantle US involvement with NATO. As payback for Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential Elections. It was Trump who originally destabilized Ukrainian support from American policy. It can be traced back to the 2016 RNC Convention. Where Trump and his campaign manager at the time, Paul Manafort. Who, previously worked as a plant for Putin, installed into the Ukrainian government to undermine it from within. Together they insisted the Republican Party change its party’s platform on arming Ukraine. Once in office Trump manipulating his leverage over Ukraine, sought to hold back military aid unless President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered up damaging blackmail information on the Bidens as ransom. A win-win in Trump’s mind because he could get the necessary dirt to stave off a political rival or follow through on his promise to Putin. Either way, it gave Russia the confidence to pursue its attack on the sovereign nation. Expecting a three-day war without a unified NATO presence, Biden ultimately had to restore.

As for the Middle East conflicts, first, the only reason Iran has nuclear weapons at all. Is because Trump backed out of the nuclear deal that prevented them from developing nuclear arms. Coupled with Trump’s withdrawal from Syria, allowing Iran and Russia to further destabilize the region. Creating a present-day “Axis of Evil” that unified Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea together. Which then turned their attention towards Africa, to strip those countries of their natural resources to fund their militarization expansion. Iran, now having the military backing of Russia, funded terrorist networks throughout the Middle East. Including Iraq now being influenced by Iranian proxies. Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem immediately turned violent and at least 60 Palestinians were killed. This incident may be the underlying motive for Hamas’ barbaric attack on Israel on October 7th. Having the newfound strength of Iran in the region to lend weaponry and financial support to the terroristic cause.

That just covers some of the catastrophic consequences of the Trump Administration’s policy failures. That eventually led, to the raging conflicts, Trump blames on President Biden. As the article and video above detail, Trump posed a constant threat to national security and nearly incited a nuclear war. With his irrational disregard for global stability, merely to satisfy self-serving interests. Trump, never once cared about the consequences of his actions, as leader of the free world. So maybe Trump, never officially started a war all by himself. But he certainly never followed through on the plans, ending the wars, he promised to. Another chaotic mess left behind for the Biden Administration to clean up. What’s worse, Trump stirred up enough worldwide tensions in one term. The after-effects of which are a major factor behind all the current bloodshed being spilled around the world. Yet according to Trump, he was robbed of a Nobel Peace Prize. Further proof of Trump’s rewriting history to distract from his deadly additions.
