(CNN) — “GOP Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania said in a closed door briefing with lawmakers on Tuesday that the Ku Klux Klan is the “the military wing of the Democratic party” and that migrants coming to the US “have no interest in being Americans,” according to audio of Perry’s comments shared with CNN.
Perry, a right-wing Republican who has repeated elements of the anti-immigrant and antisemitic replacement theory before, said this during the House Oversight Committee’s member briefing entitled “the Origins and Implications of Rising Antisemitism in Higher Education.”
“The KKK in modern times, a lot of young people think somehow it’s a right-wing organization when it is the military wing of the Democratic Party. Decidedly, unabashedly, racist and antisemitic,” Perry said according to the recording”

(CEO)—Well if that isn’t a case of the white supremacist calling antisemites the KKK I don’t know what is. Scott Perry is a card-carrying member of the MAGA movement and a key contributor to the January 6th insurrection. He preaches the bigoted “Replacement Theory” to his fellow MAGATS like it’s gospel. This is the guy claiming the Democrats are the party with a racism problem in their ranks.

Just like his unhinged Conman in Chief leader Trump, Perry is projecting his own flaws onto his political opponents. That’s why anytime someone in the MAGA world accuses their rival of committing a dastardly act. 100% of the time they are merely deflecting the blame of their past immorality onto others. As if hypocrisy isn’t a choice to be made for clowns like Perry, it turns out it’s actually a birthright.

However, what is surprising about Perry’s statement, besides the fact it’s baseless. is how Perry chose to reference the Ku Klux Klan as a negative organization. When his ties to white nationalist and Neo-Nazi groups are seemingly getting stronger by the day. Perry has often promoted some of their most vile rhetoric. So maybe in his warped brain, this was more of a compliment than a criticism of Democrats. Either way, his comments like everything else that comes out of his mouth should be ignored. These MAGA mouthpieces need controversy and attention more than oxygen to survive. A trap, it appears, I willingly wandered right into and didn’t even see it coming. But unlike the MAGA base, I can openly admit when I’ve been duped by Republican propaganda.
