(Meidas Touch Network)–“Alabama Senator Katie Britt, best known for delivering a bizarre, melodramatic televised response to President Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address, has introduced a bill to create a federal website to collect data on pregnant people.
The bill, the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed Act (MOMS Act), would mandate the creation of a federal website called Pregnancy.gov, which Britt calls a “clearinghouse of relevant resources available for pregnant and postpartum women, and women parenting young children.”
The database would refer users to so-called “crisis pregnancy centers”; fake clinics that do not actually provide women with healthcare, but rather use deception and coercion to scare women away from getting an abortion, even if it necessary for their own health.”

This time around the GOP’s own Senator “Karen” is introducing a new bill that would require pregnant women to be monitored by a federal database system. While also mandating expecting mothers to report to “crisis pregnancy centers”. AKA Christian-run anti-abortion clinics disguised as women’s reproductive care facilities. That traffic in deception and coercion to prevent pregnant females from receiving the necessary prenatal care they deserve.
Britt’s previous performance where she gave the Republican response to President Biden’s State of the Union Address. She ridiculously over-acted as if they were filming a “Lifetime” movie of the week. Portraying an unhinged bipolar Mother character. Reading from a right-wing ransom letter in the comfort of her kitchen. Her dialogue included multiple outright lies and fear-mongering tactics used to manipulate the American audience. Britt even purposefully fabricated the details of a rape victim’s story putting undeserved blame on the Biden Administration. When the tragic event occurred during Bush’s Presidency on Mexican soil.
So now that Britt has a documented history of using women in crisis to further her party’s political agenda. She has voluntarily decided to be the face of a government-controlled pregnancy database. Which if passed into law would allow politicians to track and someday prosecute pregnant women for abortion services. Under the guise of providing reproductive health care assistance. When the actual clinics have no medical benefits whatsoever. At least we all got a good laugh from her prior viral SOTU performance. This effort is far too sinister to even joke around about.
How dare Republicans try to force their religious will onto the entire female population? Do they assume women aren’t clever enough to understand the draconian policies they are advocating? Britt and the rest of her MAGA officeholders are in for a rude awakening. If they presume these types of unpopular measures will pass. Nonetheless, everyone must take notice of the dystopian reality awaiting us if the GOP continues to win elections. They are willing to lie, cheat, and steal just to make this happen. So regardless of what position is up for grabs, we all must vote Democrat up and down the ballot. Even if you disagree with some policies on the left. American’s rights are under attack from Republicans. So it’s time we draw a line in the sand, with saving our democracy firmly on our side.
