Conway: “I want to point out one other thing about this motion. This really puts Judge Cannon on the spot. This woman has absolutely completely shown an absolute bias against the government from day one in multiple ways. She’s dragging her feet on this case, and if she does not do something about this, I think the special counsel may use this as the opportunity to try to get the 11th Circuit to get rid of her. So she’s really on the spot here.“
(CEO)—It’s no secret that Federal Judge Aileen Cannon has proven time and time again, that she is openly rooting for Donald Trump, against the Department of Justice. Coincidentally or not Trump is also the same person who gave Cannon her lifetime appointment to the judiciary. For which Cannon has shown preferential treatment to Trump for giving her a lifelong gig. By purposefully refusing to rule on simple motions and delaying the trial indefinitely to help, criminal-defendant Trump, postpone this case. Along with multiple rulings, of which Cannon crafted a misguided finding. That was widely condemned by legal experts and other judges alike.
Federal Special Counsel Jack Smith however has had little to no prior legal avenues to pursue Cannon’s expulsion from this case. That was until now, hopefully. Trump poses such a clear and present threat to the FBI and other Law Enforcement Agencies. Because of Trump’s entirely fabricated ominous claim that under the direction of President Biden. The FBI planned to use deadly force while executing a warrant at Mar-A-Largo. With the intent to kill Trump and endanger his family. A completely delusional accusation that couldn’t be any further from the truth if Trump claimed Aliens had warned him.
Yet Trump’s MAGA base is full of well-armed extremist and white nationalist domestic terrorists. Trafficking in conspiracy theories and anti-American government propaganda. So the potential for violence against Law Enforcement Agencies is now at an all-time high thanks to Trump. Thankfully Jack Smith understands the correlation between Trump’s dangerous dishonest rhetoric and its intended repercussions on the rule of law in this country.
If Judge Cannon does however rule against imposing a gag order on Trump for this behavior. It just might be the “smoking gun” evidence SC Smith needs to have Cannon removed permanently from this trial. For having a personal bias towards the defendant. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals cannot allow Federal Law Enforcement Officials to face an imminent threat of violence from a criminal defendant’s supporters.
Imagine this same scenario was instead, involving a mob boss and not a former President. This sort of call to action would immediately be condemned and every step would be taken to prevent this from further escalation. Trump is right about one thing, he is treated differently from all other defendants on trial. Just not the unfair treatment he pretends to endure, Trump is handled overly sensitively with kid gloves. He is given special treatment whenever possible. If Judge Cannon fails to properly rule on this, it could be the only opportunity Jack Smith gets to see her dismissal. Either way, she has already slowed played these proceedings to a halt. So having a new Judge introduced will also delay this matter to Trump’s benefit. It’s officially at the damned if you do damned if you don’t, stage. Must be nice being a criminal defendant lucky enough to receive this many underserved breaks. The only definite way to ensure Trump faces legal consequences at this point is to re-elect President Biden. Then and only then will genuine justice be served.
