(Southern Poverty Law Center)–“Dutch Sheets, Lance Wallnau, Mario Murillo and Hank Kunneman are four of the most influential Christian leaders in the U.S. Yet most people have probably never heard of them. As leaders of a Christian supremacist movement, they decreed publicly in 2022 that they have the God-given right to rule the United States and that they “have been given legal power and authority from Heaven.” These far-right figures claim to be “God’s ambassadors and spokespeople over the earth” who “are equipped and delegated by Him to destroy every attempted advance of the enemy.”
These men who made what is known as the “Watchmen Decree” are among the leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), a new and powerful Christian supremacy movement that is attempting to transform culture and politics in the U.S. and countries across the world into a grim authoritarianism. NAR adheres to dominionism, which Frederick Clarkson of Political Research Associates defines as “the theocratic idea that Christians are called by God to exercise dominion over every aspect of society by taking control of political and cultural institutions.” Dominionism has long been a driver of antigovernment extremism in the United States. NAR is the latest chapter, and possibly the most successful, in dominionists’ modern effort to make their reading of Christianity authoritative and supreme in everyone’s lives.”

To my knowledge, if I have seen anything more frightening. As the indoctrination of a little-known Christofascist cult. With close ties to Republican Speaker Mike Johnson. Planning to overthrow democracy and install Authoritarian rule in America. My brain surely would’ve blocked that terrifying memory out of my mind, for survival purposes. Which I am perfectly content to confess.
This organized nightmare fuel named the “NAR” has an ideological agenda called “The Seven Mountains Mandate”. Which forces individuals to obey what they believe is God’s kingdom on Earth. By taking control over the seven areas of society. Which Includes family, religion, government, education, arts and entertainment, commerce, and the media. By infiltrating these sectors and rising to positions of power and influence. Where they will ultimately enforce their religious authority over each of the societal categories.
These nut jobs truly believe they’ve been sent by God to rule over the rest of the American population. To integrate their warped faith with the Constitution, from their unique interpretation, of course. The man who coined the term “New Apostolic Reformation” was C. Peter Wagner. He preached: “What dominion means is that we are the head and not the tail of our society. It’s a rulership and we rule as kings.” The level of narcissism in this bunch, to think God chose them to rule. Is only surpassed by the magnitude of their self-righteousness. For dictating to others they must live by NAR’s religious standards. Putting the LGTBQ+ community right in the middle of their wicked crosshairs. Who knows what sort of punishment NAR has in store for them? But it appears along with Muslims and Democrats the LGTBQ+ tops the list of NAR’s sworn “enemies.”
You might wonder how a morally bankrupt soulless individual like Donald Trump fits into this equation. Somehow this delusional bunch feels Trump is what they refer to as “God’s Chaos Candidate.” He will disrupt politics enough, they claim, to transform the U.S. into a “dominionist country”. This is a reference in the Bible to the “God of the Jews.” So NAR’s comparison to Trump means he is viewed as God by them. Imagine how bat-sh*t crazy your religion is if Trump is presumed to be God. Maybe on “Opposite Day” I could understand the vision. But on any other normal day, Trump is closer to a demonic creature, than some holy sacred figure.
Having an organization of God-fearing men and women, so far removed from reality. The simple knowledge of their existence should scare you to your core. Never mind their planned attack on American democracy and the principles this nation was founded upon. I have no idea why I am just now learning, about NAR’s presence. This is a perfect example of the fear-mongering subject matter the mainstream media loves to cover. Let’s just hope NAR’s coordinated takeover of the press hasn’t occurred just yet. It would however make a lot more sense if that mission were already accomplished. At least then there’d be some justification for the media’s lackluster job performance of late. Like not thoroughly informing and protecting our democracy from the lunatics over at the NAR. To quote the legendary coach of the New England Patriots Bill Belichick “Do your job!”
