According to Moody’s, next year under a Trump administration inflation would rise from the current 3.3% to 3.6%, well above the 2.4% forecast for next year under Biden. You wouldn’t blame the contractors for the cost of rebuilding your home. You’d blame “Hurricane Donald” for tearing it to pieces in the first place. How the public doesn’t understand that simple correlation is beyond frustrating.
If you want to imagine how the economy would have rebounded from the pandemic under a Conservative Government. Look no further than England where inflation has been some of the highest in the world until recently. While they’ve also suffered through a recession during that duration. Trump truly poses in his self-proclaimed MAGA dictatorship if he’s elected once again.
