(Yahoo News)–“Donald Trump’s campaign is hard at work manufacturing a reason for him to skip Thursday’s presidential debate, and his latest tactic is the most ridiculous one yet. Trump and his former White House doctor Representative Ronny Jackson, who reportedly kept the former president’s administration “awash in speed,” have repeatedly suggested that President Joe Biden will take performance-enhancing drugs before the debate, as part of their crusade to undermine the event and give Trump a get-out-of-jail-free card.
Now they’ve elevated their own bonkers conspiracy theory even further: Trump posted a letter to Truth Social on Monday that Jackson supposedly sent to the White House demanding Biden submit to a drug test before the debate.
All of this concocted drama around drug use, as well as claims that CNN will host a biased debate, positively reek of desperation to get the former president out of Thursday night’s presidential showdown. It’s not surprising, as Trump is not suited to actual debate: His speech is often erratic and incoherent, and he’s prone to going off on tangents. Plus, Trump has historically taken a hit in the polls after debating with Democrats, in 2016, and again in 2020.”
(CEO)—With tomorrow’s Presidential debate looming over Donald Trump. His biggest fear of being exposed as the felonious con artist he is at his core. Is increasingly becoming a reality that Trump and his MAGA allies realize could be disastrous for his campaign hopes. Knowing full well that President Biden is about to unleash a political public beatdown Trump is unprepared to defend. Nothing motivates Trump more than being humiliated. So he’s encouraging his MAGA zealots to fabricate excuses to lower expectations of the final outcome. So if Trump ultimately decides to back down from or loses the debate he has pre-concocted ready-to-spread rationales to mitigate any media backlash.
Besides Trump and his MAGA surrogates changing their opinion of Biden’s debating prowess. After years of comparing Biden to a senile old man roaming the neighborhood naked in search of his bathrobe. To a quick-witted debating savant in search of his next victim to prey upon in a televised competition. Now have an insane narrative alleging the President needs performance-enhancing drugs to function properly. As if Biden was conducting his debate prep at Balco Laboratories. The famed site where Barry Bonds got his daily injections of home-run juice during his record-breaking season. This imaginary tale has been tossed around since the night of Biden’s powerful State of the Union Address. They were forced to create an alternative talking point to counterbalance their false accusations of Biden’s mental decline spread throughout right-wing media. Because when you tell the amount of lies Trump and his party do. Oftentimes they end up contradicting each other at some point.
As the 1980’s, public service announcement about lying, advertisement, sang to me every commercial break during cartoon viewing. “If you tell one lie it leads to another. When you tell two lies to cover each other, then you tell three lies. Oh, brother, you’re in trouble up to your ears!” Somehow I still remember the lessons taught in that song to this day, some 40 years later. Yet the MAGA GOP still can’t comprehend that constantly lying, produces the same structural integrity to their comments, as a house of cards on a waterbed. Something that may hold up under the friendly confines of Fox News. But will immediately collapse from the pressure of a CNN-hosted political debate against a formidable opponent in Biden.
This brings us to the latest pathetic excuse Trump’s camp is resorting to for the “Woe is me!” manipulation card. They claim CNN is unfair to Trump for honestly reporting on his unlawful behavior. Proving Trump is so thin-skinned that anything short of absolute adoration is somehow considered an attack on his character. I know needy lapdogs that would be irritated if they received half the amount of continuous petting Trump’s ego requires. Trump’s resistance to playing ball on a level playing field is because his arguments are full of rhetoric and empty on substance. He knows CNN’s debate format will reveal to the American audience just how unpopular his policies truly are. Since Biden is willing and able to compete under any circumstances. Trump is now compelled to turn CNN into the evil entity in this debate scenario.
Ever since the Presidential debate schedule was first announced. My inner Trump “Bull 💩 detector” has required multiple battery replacements from excessive overuse. Early on in the process, it became apparent Trump might eventually bow out. Although, I’d love nothing more than for Trump to “cry uncle” and have to live with the embarrassing fallout. With American democracy on the line, I prefer this debate, take place. So fingers crossed that Trump’s delusional narcism far outweighs his fear of losing. So this emerging crisis of confidence subsidies long enough to compete in tomorrow’s head-to-head battle for the Presidency. It’s about damn time Americans see and hear with their own two eyes and ears. How Trump is only in this election to avoid prison sentences and to personally cash in through corruption of power. The clock is rapidly ticking and the pressure is mounting for Trump. But whether he bitches out or has his ass handed to him by Biden. We already know Trump and his cronies will be singing his favorite tune, at the top of their lungs, to anyone who’ll listen, titled “It’s all rigged”.
