Back to the business at hand, Trump has made numerous recent statements including one during the debate. In which he indicated his relationship with Putin is still ongoing to this day. Yet ironically when he refers to “fake news” or “hoaxes” Trump often claims “Russia, Russia, Russia” is one of them. A MAGA talking point that has been debunked by the FBI and multiple journalists. Also the “Meuller Report” provides solid evidence of Trump’s campaign’s collusion with Russian operatives leading up to the 2016 election. But since Trump’s corrupt Attorney General Bill Barr interfered in the probe. When he redacted large portions of the incriminating document before its release to Congress and the general public. Trump and his MAGA media mouthpieces manipulated the contents of the report to fit their narrative.
I’ve previously covered many of Trump’s direct ties to Vladimir Putin. So I won’t bore you with those details here. But the simple fact remains, why would Trump still have a relationship with the world’s worst war criminal and number one threat to global democracy? Of course, it’s for nefarious purposes as every motivation Trump and Putin have is to gain money and power. Putin’s utmost goal in life is to reunify the former Soviet Union to its glory days. His biggest obstacle to that objective is the NATO military alliance that the United States oversees. So if Trump, becoming President, is the quickest way to undermine NATO. Since he has already threatened to permanently remove, the US superpower, from the military coalition. Then certainly, Putin would do everything in his power to make that vision a reality. As a dictator on day one, Trump has eluded to complying with Putin’s wishes during his second term.
You see this collaboration is beneficial for both parties involved. Trump needs Putin’s assistance just to get elected. So Russian propagandists peddling political persuasion on social media platforms. As Russia also feeds MAGA Republicans in Congress with fabricated disinformation about Biden’s corruption that never existed. Then Republicans and their far-right media partners spread those lies to the American population. In an effort to muddy the political landscape’s waters and deepen divisions along the party lines. Quite the quid pro quo operation these two authoritarian regimes have agreed upon.
You can almost understand Putin’s justification for this strategy. In his view, he’s strengthening “Mother Russia” into a future superpower. Yet Trump’s motivations on the other hand are purely self-serving and quite detrimental to the United States. How the MAGA base is still oblivious that they benefit nothing from Trump’s agenda is beyond frustrating. A collection of “useful idiots” the likes of which this country has never witnessed before. MAGA supporters are sleepwalking us all into a Trump dictatorship. Like a bunch of red hat-wearing cattle leading themselves into slaughter. With stakes, this intense, MAGATS keep pretending that Trump fraternizing with the Russians isn’t premeditated. Ignoring all of the same warning signs from 2016 that led to Trump’s disastrous Presidency. That America’s economy barely survived through. Let’s never give the world’s most infamous golf cheat, Trump, an undeserved mulligan on the Presidency.
