(CEO)— After yesterday’s appalling SCOTUS ruling extensively creating unlimited Presidential powers going forward. The two current candidates for the office had drastically contrasting reactions to this announcement. While President Biden vehemently rejected the decision and vowed to never abuse the newly created capabilities established in the Highest Court’s judgment. Donald Trump on the other hand celebrated the ruling. Calling it a great victory for democracy and boasted about his apocalyptic intent to hunt down his political rivals. Just for simply carrying out their Constitutional duties. Which consists of holding Trump legally accountable for a multitude of crimes. He committed against We the People of the United States and our elected government.

Although it’s no surprise Trump responded so approvingly to the notion that most of the criminal prosecutions he’s facing are now in jeopardy of being thrown out. Ironically, Trump claimed this decision is a win for our Democracy. When the reality is American Democracy no longer exists once the SCOTUS gifted the President King-like supremacy. Three days shy of the Fourth of July no less. Merely to rub acid in and around our country’s freshly opened-up wounds. Nonetheless, Trump’s excitement quickly turned frightening as he and his MAGA sycophants began coordinating their dystopian retribution tour.

Trump has upped the stakes for this election by threatening his political detractors with military tribunals and executions for fabricated treason charges. Proving Trump is incapable of regaining the Presidency with these newfound authorities. As Biden referenced in his speech, the office now demands a President with strong morality and integrity. The same characteristical makeup that nearly every other President besides Trump has maintained. If the SCOTUS is willing to lower the bar for the legal conduct of a sitting President. Then We the People must demand our candidates personally exceed all the principled requirements of the job. Mandating they meet a vigorous moral standard to run for office in the first place.

Now more than ever the ability to trust our President’s motivation is a must. Until then Congress should pass legislation to protect the Presidency from convicted felons, habitual liars, and sexual predators to name a few reasonable benchmarks. Each one is a legal hurdle Trump couldn’t clear with a Ballistic Missile shoved up his ass. Trump can’t even legally be given a security clearance as a felon. Yet can be granted limitless capabilities to commit crimes up to and including murder under the guise of official acts. I’ve dealt with some seriously nefarious criminals over my lifetime. Those individuals are at their most dangerous when they are also desperate. For Trump, winning this election is the difference between going to prison for the rest of his life or having the power to lie cheat, steal, and retaliate without legal repercussions. With outcomes that extreme Trump is currently the most dangerously desperate man alive. So please vote accordingly otherwise you may find yourself in the growing category of Americans on the receiving end of the new Presidential domination.
