(CEO)—Don’t get me wrong folks. That hidden camera footage is devastating evidence against Donald Trump. It confirms Trump’s relationship with the Heritage Foundation, authors of Project 2025. It took an undercover investigation from the nonprofit, Center For Climate Reporting. Just to undeniably corroborate Trump’s personal connection to the Project. Despite over a year now, the authoritarianist playbook was the worst-kept secret in politics. Up until recently, it was primarily overlooked by mainstream news organizations. Once it was widely reported, Trump faced well-deserved public outrage. He outright lied to quickly distance himself from the Christian Nationalism government overhaul. Of course, the media responded as it often does. By treating, all the undeniable facts, as allegations. Then promoting Trump’s meaningless denial as a counter-narrative to reality.

Instead of the press pushing back against Trump’s obvious falsehoods. Doing their journalistic duty by holding his feet to the fire. Since the truth of Trump’s involvement was never once in doubt. Still, the corporate news chose to spread Trump’s denials as part of the narrative. They allowed him to move along to his next fabrication without ever pressing the issue. When the media elevates a fear-mongering model of news coverage. To receive increased ratings leading to more advertising dollars. Perhaps knowing the Republican Party’s Presidential candidate is planning to overthrow the existing government. Would be just the ideal subject matter to frighten their viewership into paying attention. I can’t imagine any scarier or more consequential topic to Americans than this one. But since the press hit a minor speed bump in Trump’s manufactured rebuttal along the way. The story vanished after Trump’s sound bite inconvenienced the overall record of events.

So with further visual evidence proving Trump’s all-in on Project 2025. You’d expect the conclusive footage would be plastered across all media platforms. But nothing could be further from the truth. Except, of course, Trump’s “press conference” being broadcast across all the major television networks. Somehow Trump’s, crock of shit performance, gets the full media coverage treatment. While the brave work produced by the Center For Climate Reporting. Gets shamefully tossed aside after going to great lengths to secure evidence of corruption. Yet not one of the journalists in attendance at Trump’s presser confronted him directly on today’s revelation.

It reminds me of the fallout from the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Which the whole world watched unfold live on television. Knowing exactly who originally instigated the failed coup and their rationale for starting it. Yet now there are somehow two distinct narratives regarding the tragic circumstances. The reality on one side and Trump’s negation propaganda pushed by the other. To this day any reporting describing the insurrection comes coupled with a disclaimer. It states Trump denies any wrongdoing on that infamous day in US history. What a sad state of affairs in American journalism when the truth is handled as mere accusation. No longer are we allowed to believe what we witness with our own two eyes and ears. Not unless all the guilty parties involved also cosign the same details.

Project 2025 is obviously Trump’s plan to replace American democracy with a bigoted religious tyranny. No amount of false media equivalency or Trump-fabricated denialism can convince me otherwise. But It’s not me it’s the rest of American society, that needs persuading. As they may never have been exposed to any of Project 2025’s indefensible intentions in this often-changing news cycle. Not for any shortage of source validation either. But due to a lackluster media effort to caution the public. Since the dangers of Trump’s involvement in Project 2025. Is An unmistakable threat to our democracy. That should’ve already been common knowledge, long before now.
