Now appears to have a more nefarious purpose than Trump’s other typical ripoffs. This time around Trump could be utilizing the $100K timepieces of shit to launder foreign money into his campaign coffers. Subverting campaign finance laws through untraceable cryptocurrency transactions and shell corporations.
Now I realize Trump’s MAGA sycophants aren’t the sharpest crayons in the box. But anyone willing to shell out $100K on a watch would at least confirm the authenticity and quality of their purchase. Yet somehow neither is guaranteed in the easily comprehensible purchase agreement. So it begs the question of who is willingly dropping $100K a pop to Trump and doesn’t give a flying f*ck about the product they get in return. I can’t imagine the average rally-attending MAGAT is shelling out a life-altering amount of money to a faux self-described Billionaire.
Perhaps someone who is in fact, not paying an exorbitant amount of money for the actual watch itself. But instead, they are buying access to the potential U.S. President at a fairly discount rate. So whatever product is inside the box if and when it ever arrives at its final destination. Is just as inconsequential to the “buyer” as the well-being of Trump’s kids is to Donald. This sounds much more plausible and a surefire way to conveniently funnel foreign funds indiscriminately. Then it will be finding enough suckers in his MAGA base. However, in the fine print, you might’ve noticed that they say each timepiece is made to order. So not only do those two statements seem rather contradictory. This entire operation reeks of fraud and just like Trump’s body odor it doesn’t pass the smell test. So much so that If I were Attorney General Merrick Garland. This little campaign stunt just jumped to the top of my investigational to-do list. Trump is always on the lookout for new and innovative solutions to conceal his corruption. So regardless if this is a money laundering conspiracy or not. It’s still a watch worth a few hundred dollars being sold for $100K.
