Since adhering to norms is officially out the window, I retroactively rescind my self-set political abstinence rule on this site, dating back to my previous article on the January 6th Pardons. Some things are just too important to ignore no matter how hard I try, and the fate of American Democracy is on the list. I believed being blissfully unaware of the State of the Union looked intriguing from afar. However, I couldn’t stomach being silent on the topic any longer, after all the devious plans that Project 2025 laid out in explicit detail are currently being implemented, with minimal backlash from the complicit corporate media. At the top of that agenda is repealing the 22nd amendment that limits the US presidency to 2 terms only.
It’s rather alarming the state of news coverage these days when the only credible source covering this topic is People magazine. Not all that long ago, you could rely on CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS for legitimate, non-opinion-driven, fact-based reporting. However, this country’s credibility is so fucked up that hard-hitting journalism can only now be found at the Stop and Shop checkout counter mixed in with all the stories about Elvis sightings, Alien invasions of Buckingham Palace, and a never-ending supply of Butterfingers. And we wonder why our democracy isn’t taken seriously anymore.

Not to mention the same misinformed dipshits who voted Pervert Hoover back into office are actively involved in his latest money laundering scheme to rip off his supporters and receive untraceable bribes from America’s foreign adversaries. Perhaps that’s what this country deserves after raising an entire pampered generation that prefers consuming iPhone-delivered political disinformation from their favorite influencers as if they were conveniently DoorDashing propaganda.
