Behind Closed Doors

Devin Archer today testified before the House Oversight Committee behind closed doors. Archer a former business partner to Hunter Biden, was the latest witness House Republicans have paraded before the committee.

The GOP has frantically accumulated a cast of “Whistleblowers”, “Chinese Spies” and now Felons to create a narrative that Joe Biden is a criminal mastermind who used his status as Vice President to line the pockets of his family members. What was advertised by many House Republicans as definitive evidence, has been nothing more than baseless accusations and innuendos. To date, none of these hearings have produced any evidence of wrongdoing by the President.

Holding today’s hearing behind closed doors, a tactic Republicans deploy when the testimony given may potentially exonerate President Biden. They prefer the press relying on their slant of the testimony . That then gets quoted back to their waiting base.

Archer testified that Hunter Biden spoke daily with his Father, but he added: “that business was never discussed”. Once again the Republicans, stonewalled by the truth, will continue to invite and sort through hearsay-filled testimonies. All while facts have perpetually circumvented the proceedings. The one truth taken from today was a son’s daily phone call to his father, fueling Democratic rumors that Hunter may be a good guy.
