(CNN) — “Former President Donald Trump wrote on his social media platform Sunday that he is no longer planning to testify in his civil fraud trial in New York on Monday.
Trump had been expected to return to court Monday to testify in an effort to bolster his defense against allegations he fraudulently inflated the value of his properties, after he was questioned by the New York attorney general’s office last month. But the former president wrote in a lengthy message on Truth Social that he “WILL NOT BE TESTIFYING ON MONDAY,” while continuing to attack the attorney general’s case against him and the judge overseeing it.”
So Trump has decided last minute to refuse to take the stand in his civil lawsuit case in New York. Those of us with functioning brains aren’t the least bit surprised by the faux tough guy’s latest cowardly decision. However, at what point will the Trump Kool-Aid drinkers realize the man that they,disowned relatives and sold the soul of the nation for, is nothing more than a chicken 💩 con-man? You would think that there has to be a tipping point, for at least some of his followers, when enough is enough.
You don’t even need to listen to Trump’s detractors to realize that he is completely full of đź’©. All you have to do is listen to what the man says himself and then compare it to his actions. The two rarely add up. I couldn’t imagine being continuously disappointed by someone I admire so deeply, as the Trump sycophants somehow endure. Even Dogs take less time figuring out when you pretend to play fetch with them. Then it takes the MAGA cult to notice that Trump has yet to keep his word about anything.
It seems highly unlikely that the median I.Q. of the base could break 85. If you’ve never had the pleasure of debating a Trump supporter, they always claim that they’ve researched a certain topic in dispute. When in actuality they clearly obtained their “knowledge” from a meme on 4chan as if it were the White Nationalist encyclopedia. Besides Jets fans, I’ve never seen a group of people who are so braggadocios over their admiration of something. That has accomplished almost nothing deserving of credit. But at least Jets fans are ashamed of their lack of accomplishments and boo when their team doesn’t live up to expectations. Trump fans have no shame in their game, so they continue to cheer on their guy with their red hats regardless if he’s the biggest loser the world has ever seen.
