(Meidas Touch Network)–“Independent candidate for President Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a half-baked apology to family members that do not support his candidacy for President after releasing an advertisement during the Super Bowl that featured family members. The Super Bowl ad leaned on the Kennedy name, along with his family’s past political success as a reason to vote for Kennedy during this election. Specifically, Kennedy tweeted the following apology to family members:
Despite this half-baked apology, the advertisement remains on his Twitter page. Not just that, Kennedy pinned the ad to the top of his page so that it is the first thing viewers see when looking at his Twitter page. For perspective, this is what Kennedy’s Twitter page currently looks like when you click on it:

Not only is Kennedy promoting an ad made by a Super PAC that he says did not consult with him or his staff, but he is apologizing to his family members for an ad that he continues to prominently feature as part of his campaign strategy.”

First things first, although the phrase “Black Sheep” has not aged well at all. The movie of the same title starring the late great Chris Farley has certainly stood the test of time. Like Farley’s character, RFK Jr shares the title of an embarrassing outcast from a family with a stellar political reputation. However, that’s where the similarities end. Unlike Farley’s lovable role where he always means well but still creates hilarious mayhem. RFK Jr has made it his personal mission to use the legendary family name for his selfish purposes in direct opposition to his extended Kennedy family’s wishes.
His Super Bowl commercial is an exact rip-off of his beloved uncle, President John F. Kennedy. The Kennedy family has been very vocal about their concerns regarding RFK Jr’s campaign. Nearly all members of the Kennedy clan have publicly expressed their support for President Joe Biden. They’ve been adamant that what RFK Jr stands for doesn’t coincide with the values of the Democratic legends his father and uncles stood for. His wild conspiracy theories and anti-vax rhetoric have further undermined the scientific community’s attempt to educate the masses. He’s used misinformation to politically capitalize upon the divisive narratives flooding the internet.

So no matter how much he tries to apologize to his family with this blissfully unaware argument. If there was an ounce of truth or regret in his body he wouldn’t currently be promoting the same ad that aired on the most-watched television event of the year. It’s hard to believe that a 7 million dollar per minute commercial was never discussed with the candidate himself. If that ad isn’t a big middle finger to his family for their lack of support, then I don’t know what it is. It’s one thing to disparage your own name, but dragging your family down with you is a level of disrespect that a single tweet won’t fix.
His candidacy has been an inside joke since day one among the Trump campaign. If he doesn’t realize that he’s being used by the GOP as a Biden spoiler. Then his ignorance should be a giant red flag for those looking to back the former Democrat. His major donors are mostly from right-wing organizations looking to sway independent voters who refuse to vote for Donald Trump. Just as Jill Stein was used by Russian interference in the 2016 election, RFK Jr is being promoted by the same foreign entities. There is extensive evidence suggesting Stein was complicit in disenfranchising minority voters. So it wouldn’t shock me if RFK Jr is found to have accepted help from nefarious parties looking to tip the balance in Trump’s favor in 2024.
What I do know for a fact, that a vote for RFK Jr for President is a vote against democracy. If you don’t believe me, maybe you’ll trust his own family’s judgement. The Kennedys are firmly behind President Joe Biden in 2024. If that doesn’t speak volumes for RFK Jr’s lack of qualifications then you might be as insincere as his phony apology.
