(CNN) —“A Texas man is seeking a court order so he can depose a woman he was dating who traveled to Colorado to get an abortion, in a case that may have ramifications in the ongoing legal battles over abortion rights.
Collin Davis, a resident of Brazos County, filed a legal petition in March stating that on February 20 — the day after he learned the woman intended to obtain the abortion — he retained an attorney, who sent the woman a letter requesting that she preserve all records related to her plans to terminate the pregnancy.
According to the petition, the letter warned that he “would pursue wrongful-death claims against anyone involved in the killing of his unborn child.””

The dangerous impact costing Women living in those GOP-ruled states their freedom and livelihood. If merely challenged by someone with an axe to grind. How this is the new normal in this country. Is a beyond-terrifying reality that feels more like some dystopian hellscape. Then the America we assumed growing up was the bastion of freedom admired worldwide.
Imagine the delusional levels of superiority it requires to give an ex-girlfriend a lifelong sentence. That demands she bring to life and care for a part of her past she clearly wants to forget. Rejecting her judgment as meaningless and claiming ownership over the contents of her body. What makes things worse is her ex-boyfriend, politicians, lawyers, and judges seem to have a lot more say in the matter now, than she does. She is compelled to sit idly by and watch as those parties intrusively make legal determinations over her personal decisions. It’s completely exploitative and a degrading situation that should’ve remained private knowledge all along.
Which doesn’t even begin to take into account the unnecessary hoops the Woman had to jump through just to access the type of medical care she required. Forced to leave her own state and the comfort of her doctors behind. Navigating a foreign state not knowing the medical professionals tasked with performing the most difficult medical procedure she may have ever experienced. Just the process itself sounds downright frightening.
For that to be just the start of her nightmarish journey is an obstacle no Woman should ever have to endure. Then to find out you have to relive the mental anguish again. This time for the whole world to add their unwanted opinions to a larger debate you have no control over. It’s sickening that the will of a tiny religious minority dictates how the rest of society gets to live. Those who pretend, their’s is a noble cause, while falsely proclaiming to save the lives of the unborn. Never once considering all the lives ruined by their self-serving ultimatums. At the very least, religious zealots need to take personal accountability, for the restriction of Females’ freedoms. Because the God they swear to, calls for sinners to repent. The Republican Party’s treatment of Women over reproductive rights is blasphemous, prideful, envious, greedy, assaulting, and boastful. So their entire argument is invalidated if their actions and behavior are an affront to God herself.
