Johnson not only appeared at the courthouse but attacked Judge Merchan, Merchan’s daughter, prosecutors, and Michael Cohen, who was testifying while Johnson was delivering his remarks.
Others pointed out the inconsistency of a man who claimed his worldview was based on the Bible appearing at a criminal case to defend a man who’s on trial for allegedly paying off a porn star for an alleged affair he had while his wife was home with their infant son.”
(CEO)—First, let me start by saying Jim McGovern is a fellow Democratic Masshole like myself. His legendary no-nonsense approach to calling out Republican hypocrisy in American politics is inspirational. He is the perfect example of how to counterbalance the MAGA propaganda being spread by his colleagues across the aisle. With direct fact-based common sense arguments that undermine the false narratives from the Trump sycophants in the GOP.
McGovern nailed his assessment of the Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s cheerleading performance yesterday at Trump’s criminal trial. Dubbing the Speaker’s appearance “pathetic” perfectly describes the boot-licking job Johnson and his co-MAGA mouthpieces deliberately coordinated. Trump demanded that the group of MAGA muppets were all dressed in matching outfits. Like a collection of differing-sized MAGA nesting dolls. Proving once again no one in this GOP posse is allowed to speak for themselves. Not without Trump’s arm being firmly up their asses while he’s working their mouths. Besides Johnson, the list of participants included Vivek Ramaswamy, JD Vance, Doug Burgum, Tommy Tuberville, Byron Donalds, and Cory Mills. A real who’s who in the MAGA cult hierarchy.
By the looks of this MAGA, meeting of the mindless, parading themselves in front of the press all morning. Spreading falsehoods and Trump talking points in unison. You would’ve thought it was a MAGA “Apprentice-style” challenge being filmed. The grand prize awarded being a Trump VP nomination and a Co-Conspirator spot in a future criminal prosecution to be named in later. It was an embarrassing display of spinelessness. From MAGA politicians acting as if their balls’ dignity was being held for ransom at Mar-A-Largo. Waiting for the “job well done” acknowledgment from Trump before having them released from captivity. Grown men, willingly selling their souls and morality, for a seat in the new dictatorship.
How does Speaker Johnson rationalize his Trump infatuation with the God he’s constantly trying to please? I mean it’s clear his devotion to religion outweighs his oath to protect and defend the Constitution. You’d assume that a man so religious, he forces his son to monitor his porn consumption, so he won’t be tempted (True Story!!). Wouldn’t blindly obey someone as morally bankrupt as Trump. Donald is the definition of a false idol, yet the Speaker continues to worship him. Just further evidence, that all of these MAGA Republicans, pretend to stand for some noble cause. But their actions prove that maintaining power at all costs is their only true motivation. I don’t ever remember reading that portion of the Bible. Then again I haven’t read the version Donald Trump’s selling yet.

I wonder what the judge will have to say about these losers parroting the words of the gag-ordered Trump. Will he see it (as I do) as Trump playing with getting around the gag order by using surrogates? If so….
